The History

The PartyLite tradition of making the world’s finest candles dates back more than a century to one woman and one candle in the heart of New England, where American candle-making has its roots. In 1909, a schoolteacher named Mabel Baker began making bayberry candles in her Cape Cod kitchen. Soon she was producing the finest candles in New England. From those sweet, fragrant beginnings emerged a company that, in 1973, introduced a new concept and a new brand called PartyLite.

The Wax

There really is a science to candle making. What makes one candle better than the other is the quality of the formulation. The Wick

Each candle is made using lead-free 100% cotton wicks, making it safe for burning.  Oh and this is cool! In the fall season check out our candle line "Natures Light".  These candles have a wooden wick which captures the allure of a flickering fire with a heartwarming crackle sound.  A genuine wood fire glow!

Fragrance Jewelry

Yes! This is an awesome Lisa Hoffman product line.  Our innovators really thought outside the box and put our customers into consideration.  Some folks have extremely sensitive skin and cannot apply fragrance to their body.  Well... now those people can!  Each beautiful necklace or bracelet features a charm filled with fine fragrance beads.  With an option of 6 different fragrances to choose from.  A tip from me, I like to you use my bracelet as aromatherapy and add essential oils drops to my beads.  So when I'm having a stressful day, I just add a drop or two of lavender to my beads and take a sniff every now and then to help relax me!

Rigorous Testing

Each Partylite fragrance is tested multiple times at our Sensory Facility, where both expert and consumer panels evaluate the fragrance. Once fragrance has passed the testing, a burn testing takes place to ensure the best flame and wax performance.  Creating a perfect balance to a science.

One of my favorite donations was aired on NBC Today. Our CEO Harry Slatkin announced we donated $2 million dollars in product to children to give to there parents as gifts for the holidays.
